Las Mobili — the Italian factory that furnishes the whole office, selected by La Mercanti

Las Mobili plant in Tortoreto, Italy, with its three production units: furniture, seating and partitions

British fit-outs increasingly live or die on evidence, and Las Mobili arrives with the file ready: FSC chain of custody, a Premium Quality certificate on formaldehyde emissions, LEED credits, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified by IMQ, SA8000 — plus production on 100% renewable energy since 2025. Behind the paperwork stands a 121,000 m² plant in Tortoreto where desks, ergonomic seating and glass-and-timber partition walls are made under one roof, with coordinated finishes and a single quality system. Collections such as Jera, Sigma, I-Meet and Mood cover the executive floor, the open plan and the meeting suite.

La Mercanti has selected Las since 1997 and assembles the evidence pack on the actual project — spec sheets and certificates, zone by zone.

FAQ

What does one factory for desks, seating and partitions actually change on site?

It removes the interfaces where fit-outs usually fray. Las runs three production units on one site — furniture, seating, glass-and-timber partitions — sharing finishes, dimensions and a single quality system: the Mood wall and the Jera desk arrive coordinated from the drawing, not reconciled on site. For the designer that means fewer suppliers to align; for procurement, one manufacturer to qualify. La Mercanti configures the full package from the official price lists and follows it through to delivery.

Our client's procurement asks for documented ESG. What does Las put on the table?

An unusually complete file, declared by the manufacturer: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified by IMQ, SA8000 social accountability, FSC® chain of custody, a Premium Quality certificate on formaldehyde emissions, LEED credits, and a gender-equality certification (UNI PdR 125:2022) that very few furniture makers hold — plus production on 100% renewable energy since 2025. La Mercanti extracts the documents your questionnaire actually asks for and delivers them with the quotation, not after it.

Specifying a complete Las Mobili office: five steps with La Mercanti

For designers, project managers and procurement: turning an integrated manufacturer into a coordinated fit-out — from partitions to paperwork.

Start with the partitions, not the furniture

The floor plan is decided by its divisions: Las partition walls in glass or timber set rooms, light and acoustics before any desk is placed. Fix the layout first, then size furniture on certain dimensions — not the other way round.

Assign desk systems by population

Leadership, staff, shared areas: Las covers executive desks, operative desks and workstations with dedicated families sharing one finish palette. Choose one system per tier and hold a single colour code across the floor.

Keep seating in the same hand

The Las Sedute division was created in 2005 precisely to complete the office: executive and task chairs leave the factory coordinated with desks and walls. One production origin means one contact for spares and warranties.

Request the documentation file before the order

ISO, SA8000, FSC®, formaldehyde Premium certificate, LEED credits, gender-equality certification: if the project carries ESG or LEED requirements, La Mercanti pulls the relevant documents from the Las dossier and attaches them to the specification — before they become urgent.

Close with a single point of contact

Configuration from official price lists, code checking, timing and coordinated delivery: La Mercanti follows the Las order from quotation to installation. You run the project, not the logistics.
