Elite by Las Mobili was designed by Progetto CMR — an architecture practice that plans entire workplaces for a living — and it shows in one decisive detail: the desk carries its own power. Under the 35 mm top runs a channelled structural beam in black epoxy-coated steel, fitted with two USB A+C chargers on the head and a three-socket kit, in Schuko or genuine UK sockets, along its side. No under-desk extension leads, no adaptor archaeology: the modern office desk as infrastructure, not just furniture.

Three configurations cover how executives actually work: with structural pedestal, with pedestal plus a CPU compartment, or with an extension — lockable, if specified, with an RFID electronic lock with master and user cards, a quietly clever answer to shared and hybrid offices. The finish discipline is deliberate: Dark Poplar or Light Poplar tops with 2 mm ABS edges on a Black 59 spine — two decisions, and an entire floor stays coherent.

From one desk to a 5.6-metre boardroom

The same language extends to meeting tables from 120 x 120 cm up to compound tables of 420, 490 and 560 cm with inspectable wire-manager columns, boiserie wall shelves with optional integrated LED, monolithic cabinets with sliding or back-lacquered glass doors, and storage with titanium-coloured 110° hinges. The producer declares CAM environmental compliance on the technical sheet — the certificates are available among the downloadable documents on this page.

FAQ

The desk has sockets and USB built in — what does the building still need to provide?

One feed to the desk. The structural beam under the top is a channelled steel duct carrying two USB A+C chargers on the head and a three-socket kit — specified as Schuko or UK at order stage — along its side. Everything a working session needs lives at desk level; the building only delivers power to the beam. Agree the floor box or wall feed position with the electrician before fixing the desk orientation.

Only two finishes — isn't that limiting?

It is the point. Dark Poplar and Light Poplar on a Black 59 structure were chosen by Progetto CMR so that a whole floor can be specified in two decisions and still look composed in ten years. The discipline pays where it matters: 35 mm tops and 2 mm ABS edges — the edge is where cheap desks die first — and every storage piece, boiserie shelf and meeting table shares the same code. Samples are sent on request; the cost is credited in full against a confirmed order.

What is the RFID lock on the extension actually for?

For offices where the executive desk is no longer one person's castle. The optional electronic lock closes the extension with RFID cards — master plus user — so a shared or hybrid executive room can secure documents and devices without key management. Facilities keep the master card; users change without a locksmith. It is the kind of detail an architecture practice designs because it has seen how offices are really used.

How far does the meeting-table programme go for a boardroom?

To 5.6 metres. Square tables of 120 and 140 cm, rectangular of 240 and 320 cm, and compound tables of 420, 490 and 560 x 140 cm built around an inspectable wire-manager column with cable shelves between double back panels. Tops take a black aluminium top-access with a dual-opening flap, with or without sockets. One finish code runs from the executive desk to the sixteen-seat table.

What documentation supports tenders with environmental criteria?

The manufacturer declares CAM conformity — the Italian environmental criteria for public supply — directly on the Elite technical sheet, and the product certificates are available among the downloadable documents on this page. Requirements specific to your tender — emissions data, fire classification, other national criteria — are confirmed project by project before order, so specification and delivery match exactly.

Choosing the right Elite configuration in five steps

Five decisions for facility managers and A&D: desk type, power kit, finishes, meeting programme and documentation — in working order.

Pick the desk type by how the room works

Three configurations: structural pedestal for the classic executive layout; pedestal with CPU compartment where a workstation tower must disappear; extension where the desk doubles as a small meeting surface. If the room is shared or hybrid, specify the extension with the optional RFID electronic lock — master and user cards replace key management.

Specify the socket kit for your country at order stage

The wiring beam is equipped at the factory: two USB A+C chargers on the head, plus a kit of three sockets that must be declared as Schuko or UK when ordering. Decide it with the fitout electrician — and mark the single feed point to the beam on the plan. The desk handles distribution; the building only brings power once.

Choose light or dark — then stop choosing

Light Poplar lifts compact rooms and northern light; Dark Poplar grounds executive floors with warmer palettes. Everything else — pedestals, boiserie, meeting tables, cabinet fronts — follows the same two codes on a Black 59 spine, so one decision propagates across the floor. Physical samples are sent on request; the cost is credited in full against a confirmed order.

Scale the meeting programme with the wire in mind

Up to 320 cm a single table with cable risers at the sides is enough; beyond that, the compound tables (420–560 cm) add an inspectable wire-manager column and cable shelves. Order the top-access — with or without sockets — together with the tops, since the cut-out is factory-prepared. Boardroom wiring planned this way never appears in a photograph.

Close the file with the environmental documentation

For tenders and corporate procurement, note that the manufacturer declares CAM conformity on the technical sheet; download the certificates from this page and attach them to the specification. Project-specific requirements are confirmed before order — a specification that matches its documents is the cheapest insurance a fitout can buy.
