Every executive floor has one chair that outranks the others — not by size, but by how it moves and how it is sewn. Jera Chair by Las Mobili — drawn for the Jera desk — designed by Orlandini Design, earns that rank twice over: a modern executive chair, comfortable and enveloping, with clear, decisive lines enhanced — in the manufacturer's words — by smooth upholstery or sewn bands. The quilted version adds a padded resin layer with 150 g/m² velvet backing and hand-crafted, tone-on-tone stitching: tailoring, not decoration.
The family is a register of authority in two back heights — high for the presidential desk, with an optional upholstered headrest, low for meeting tables — both sharing one enveloping monocoque: an internal metal structure covered in cold-foamed flexible polyurethane, density 70 ±5 kg/m³, CFC- and HCFC-free and flame-retardant Class 1, as declared by the manufacturer. Under it, a five-star die-cast aluminium base Ø 670 mm, polished on top and black underneath, on self-braking Ø 50 mm twin-tread castors — and two mechanisms to choose how you move: GOL, free-floating tilt with 360° swivel and gas-lift height, or GOA, the advanced-pivot tilt lockable in 4 positions, with crank-adjusted tension and anti-shock release. Gas columns conform to DIN 4550 above level 4 — manufacturer data.
One language for the whole executive floor
Jera does not stop behind the desk. The visitor versions put the same low-back shell on a die-cast pyramid base (520 x 520 mm, 360° swivel plate) or on a chromed Ø 11 mm steel sled; the tub version lines up in the boardroom with a laterally hinged seat that tips up 93° for row stacking and an optional right-hand writing tablet with anti-panic joint. Upholstery comes from the LAS colour folder — eleven options, from Ecopelle to Gabriel and Flukso fabrics and leather. Product certificates can be downloaded on this page.

Use and care: designed for indoor use only, as a swivel office chair; choose castors by floor — hard castors on carpet, soft castors on hard floors; keep 30 cm (11.8 in) from heat sources, avoid direct sunlight
By the sentence the chair has to say. The high back is the presidential register, with the padded seat cushion as standard; the medium back is the everyday management chair — same cushion, and the only version that accepts the optional upholstered headrest; the low back sits at meeting tables and desks where the person, not the chair, should tower. All three share one monocoque language, so a floor can mix registers without changing family.
GOL is the free-floating tilt — the monocoque oscillates without intermediate or final locks, with gas height adjustment and 360° swivel: natural movement, no settings to think about. GOA is the advanced-pivot tilt for those who tune their chair: lockable in 4 positions, tension adjusted by crank, tilt lock and release by lever with anti-shock system. Both ride gas columns that conform to DIN 4550 above level 4, as declared by the manufacturer.
A metal skeleton, not air. The monocoque has an internal metal structure covered in cold-foamed flexible polyurethane at 70 ±5 kg/m³ — free of ozone-harmful CFC and HCFC, flame-retardant Class 1, manufacturer data. The seat cushion adds 35 mm at 55 kg/m³. In the quilted version, a padded resin layer with 150 g/m² velvet backing sits between foam and fabric, and the tone-on-tone stitching is applied with hand-crafted workmanship: the softness is built, not implied.
That is the point of the family. In front of the desk, the visitor versions put the same low-back shell on a die-cast pyramid base with 360° swivel plate or on a chromed steel sled; in the boardroom, the tub version lines up with a seat that tips up 93° on lateral hinges for row stacking, plus an optional writing tablet with anti-panic joint. Executive office, guest side and council room speak one language — with the hierarchy told by back heights, not by mismatched chairs.
Fourteen options from the LAS colour folder: Poli, Ecopelle, Crepe, Stretch, Melange, Trevi, Lana, the Gabriel and Flukso families (Chili, Taylor, Go Check, Crisp, Crazy), leather — and customer's own fabric, valuable when a project has its own textile identity. Choose smooth or quilted, then match castors to the floor: hard castors on carpet, soft on marble or tile. Physical samples are available and their cost is fully credited when the order is confirmed.
For office managers and designers: five Jera Chair decisions that furnish an executive floor with one language.
Match back heights to registers: high back for the presidential office, medium for everyday management — the version that also accepts the headrest — low back for meeting tables. One monocoque family tells the hierarchy without changing design language.
GOL free tilt for those who want a chair with no settings — oscillation, gas lift, 360°; GOA advanced pivot for those who tune: 4 locking positions, crank tension, anti-shock lever. Gas columns conform to DIN 4550 above level 4, manufacturer data.
Specify visitor chairs on pyramid base or chromed sled for the front of the desk, and the tub version for the council room — its seat tips up 93° for row stacking, and the optional writing tablet with anti-panic joint turns rows into a training room.
Smooth for sober floors, quilted — with its 150 g/m² velvet-backed padding and tone-on-tone stitching — where the chair should read sartorial. Fourteen coverings from Poli to leather, including customer's own fabric; then match castors to the floor: hard on carpet, soft on hard surfaces.
Leathers, fabrics and quilting read differently under every light: approve physical samples on site — their cost is fully credited at order confirmation — then fix back heights, mechanisms, upholstery and castor types in writing.
