The right desk height does not exist — because no two people, and no two hours of the day, ask for the same one. UP by Las Mobili is the operative answer: a motorized height-adjustable desk system whose T-shaped telescopic legs travel from a genuinely low sitting position to full standing height. The core range runs 65 to 130 cm on legs in 90 x 60 x 2 mm telescopic steel tube, with a telescopic central beam of 100 x 50 x 2 mm that keeps the structure rigid at every point of the stroke.

Three engines, one family. UP Basic gives the essential up/down push-button; UP Plus adds the COMFORT panel with memory functions and an anti-collision sensor system — your heights stored, obstacles respected. UP Lite (72.5-121.5 cm, two-stage legs) is the accessible entry; UP Lite Pro stretches the range to 60.5-125.5 cm on three-stage columns (70/65/60 mm tubes), with memory panel, anti-collision and a clip-on cable tray included. Tops are 25 mm melamine in eight finishes — every panel Class E1 low formaldehyde, as declared by the manufacturer — and the metal keeps the discipline of Black or White.

The bench where one stands and one sits

The UP bench versions carry two electrical control units and two panels: each side of the shared desk moves independently, so a colleague can stand through a call while the other stays seated across the same structure. Front screens in Gabriel fabrics (W 160-180 cm) mount above the bridge legs and carry a PVC accessory track; cable trays fix under the top with inspection clips, because a desk that moves needs cables that follow. FAQ

Why put height-adjustable desks on an operative floor?

Because eight hours at one height is a compromise nobody signed up for. UP lets each person set the worktop to their own body — and change posture through the day, alternating sitting and standing with one press. The range is honest: 65 to 130 cm on the core versions, down to 60.5 cm on Lite Pro, which covers seated work for smaller statures and full standing height for taller ones on the same desk.

UP Basic, Plus, Lite or Lite Pro — how do the four engines differ?

Basic and Plus share the 65-130 cm range on 90 x 60 mm two-stage legs with a 100 x 50 mm telescopic beam; Plus adds the COMFORT memory panel and the anti-collision sensor. Lite is the lighter build: 72.5-121.5 cm on slimmer legs, with the memory panel, anti-collision and a 300 cm cable as standard. Lite Pro is the refined one: three-stage 70/65/60 mm columns give the widest stroke — 60.5 to 125.5 cm — with memory panel, anti-collision and a clip-on cable tray included. Same eight tops and Black/White metal across all four.

What exactly do the memory panel and anti-collision sensor do?

The COMFORT panel stores your preferred heights, so the desk returns to your seated and standing positions with one touch instead of guesswork — the practical difference between a feature people use daily and one they abandon in a week. The anti-collision sensor system stops the motorized travel when the desk meets an obstacle: drawer units, window sills and forgotten chairs survive the office that moves.

How does the sit-stand bench work when two people share it?

Independently — that is the point. The UP bench carries a motorized bridge structure with two electrical control units, two panels and two cables: each worktop of the shared desk travels alone through the 65-130 cm range, so one colleague stands through a call while the other stays seated opposite. The Gabriel-fabric front screen (W 160-180 cm) mounts above the bridge legs and keeps sightlines calm even when the two sides sit at different heights.

A desk that moves has moving cables — how is that handled?

By design, not by zip ties. The power cable is 300 cm on every version to accommodate the full stroke; cable trays in 1 mm sheet metal fix under the top with clips that allow inspection — unclip, service, clip back; Lite Pro adds its own 700 x 120 mm tray hooked under the central beams. Every panel is Class E1 low formaldehyde as declared by the manufacturer. Finish and fabric samples are available; the cost is fully credited when the order is confirmed.

How to bring sit-stand desks into the office without regrets

For office managers and planners: five UP decisions that make height adjustment something people actually use.

Measure the people, not the average

List the shortest and tallest users and check them against the ranges: 65-130 cm on UP Basic/Plus, 60.5-125.5 on Lite Pro, 72.5-121.5 on Lite. A range that truly covers your team beats any single 'ergonomic' fixed height — and shared desks should take the widest range you can.

Choose the engine per desk population

Plus, Lite or Lite Pro — all with memory and anti-collision — where desks are personal or shared daily: stored heights are what make people actually stand. Basic where the desk is occasional. Same tops, same Black/White metal, so mixing engines does not mix aesthetics.

Solve the cables before the first lift

A moving top pulls on everything: use the 300 cm cables, specify the clip-on inspectable trays under each top, and on Lite Pro use the beam-mounted tray. Route power so the full 130 cm stroke never tensions a cord.

Plan the bench as two independent desks

Two control units, two panels: order the bench knowing each side moves alone, and add the Gabriel front screen with its PVC accessory track so the standing side does not loom over the seated one.

Approve samples, then freeze the specification

Melamine and Black/White steel read differently under your lighting: approve physical samples on site — the cost is fully credited when the order is confirmed. Then fix in writing tops, engine per area, screen fabrics and tray positions.
