Read the fabric card of Aventador and one line stands out: Technicolour, marked Kvadrat, 100% new English wool, worsted, Ecolabel, rated at 80,000 Martindale cycles. A Tuscan executive chair, designed by Alegre Design for Quinti, that can arrive upholstered in the cloth British tailoring is built on — alongside Camira wools, Rubelli velvets and eight declared covering categories.

The chair underneath earns the fabric. The armrests are the fulcrum of the structure: the synchronised mechanism and the steel-and-polyurethane backrest anchor to them through a die-cast aluminium band. The seat is anatomically shaped, 5 cm thick, with a depth slider as standard. High back or medium back — the latter a meeting chair —, castors or glides on the four-star base — the versions change the silhouette, not the construction. La Mercanti ships the collection with fabric samples reviewed before any order is confirmed.

FAQ

Which wools are on the Aventador fabric card?
Technicolour by Kvadrat in 100% new English worsted wool, the Camira pair Main Line and Monochrome Sett in 75% virgin wool and 25% linen with Ecolabel, and Lana in 75% wool. Each fabric declares its own Martindale rating.
How solid is the frame behind the upholstery?
The load path runs through metal: die-cast aluminium armrests act as the fulcrum, a die-cast band carries the steel and differentiated-density polyurethane backrest, and the gas lift is rated above level 4 of DIN 4550.
Can the chair stand still instead of rolling?
Yes. The four-star 700 mm base takes either castors or glides, so the same chair can hold a fixed position; the five-star version rolls on twin-tread Ø 65 mm castors, with self-braking rubber ones as an option.
What does the six-year warranty actually cover?
Quinti declares that its products keep their characteristics for six years from delivery, under normal use and following the care instructions; components supplied by the buyer for customisation are excluded.
Is there a smaller version for meeting tables?
The medium-back Aventador stands 113/105 cm tall against 127/119 for the high back, with the same seat, mechanism and bases — a quieter presence for rooms where the chair should not tower. La Mercanti quotes both in one specification.
