Alegre Design moves ideas between industries on purpose

Most studios specialise; this one cross-pollinates. Alegre Design, founded in Valencia and active since 2001, describes its method as transferring knowledge between industries and cultures — and the client list proves it is not a slogan: bathroom manufacturers, lighting brands, childcare products, furniture fittings, school desks. A solution learned in one field resurfaces, transformed, in another. The studio is led by Andrés Baldoví and Marcelo Alegre, both credited as Head Designer after more than twenty years of working together, with over 200 products launched and three Red Dot Design Awards on the shelf.
