What did you have in mind?

Bespoke: size, colour, finish

Specifying seating usually means guessing a headcount and hoping. Pix replaces the guess with a scale: the round ottomans run from one to five seats, from 49 cm (19.3 in) across for a single perch to 177 cm (69.7 in) for the five-seater. In between sit the 55, 67 and 87 cm singles, the 95 cm two-seater and the 137 cm three-seater — plus Pix Cubo in square and rectangular. Pick the number of people; the diameter follows.

Ichiro Iwasaki designed the family in 2010, and it has grown since with Pix Cubo, Pix Mini and Pix Outdoor. Upholstery in fabric, leather, coated fabric or the customer's own material, an outdoor version with a water-repellent inner lining, glides under every piece and a Pix Table with height adjustment. Waiting areas and reception first, then bars, restaurants, hospitality, contract, collaborative work and the home. For UK projects, La Mercanti sizes the composition room by room, with delivery times confirmed in writing at order confirmation.

FAQ

What is the largest Pix ottoman?
The five-seater: 177 cm (69.7 in) across and 45.5 cm (17.9 in) high — a single piece that furnishes a whole area of a lobby, with no back to face any particular direction.
How many people fit on each size?
The sheet declares seats per piece: one on the 49, 55, 67 and 87 cm rounds, two on the 95 cm, three on the 137 cm and five on the 177 cm; Pix Cubo carries one in the square and two in the rectangle.
Which pieces are available for outdoor use?
The outdoor version is declared across the ottomans, made possible by a water-repellent inner lining in coated polyester — Pix Outdoor is one of the family's declared additions.
What does the Pix Table do that a fixed table does not?
Its height adjusts: a gas-lift mechanism under the 50 cm (19.7 in) MDF top lets the same table serve a low ottoman or a taller perch in the same room.
Which standards does the collection reference?
Two, because the family seats and supports: EN 16139 for non-domestic seating and EN 15372 for non-domestic tables, with declared use levels L1 general and L2 extreme.

How to compose a Pix arrangement that survives daily use

Five steps to a layout people keep rather than rearrange — planned before the first order line.

Map how people arrive
Draw the path from the door to the desk and the wait: seating goes where people stop, not where the plan has a gap.
Mix two sizes at least
A single large piece is a monument; a large one with two singles is a place — variety invites more people to sit.
Leave a metre of passage
Round pieces are approached from every side: measure the walk-around, not just the footprint.
Give each cluster a surface
A table within arm's reach turns a perch into a stay: a drink or a phone needs somewhere honest to land.
Live with it a week, then fix it
Watch where people actually sit for seven days, move once, and mark the final layout on the plan.
