Most lounge sofas ask you to find the one position they were designed for. Nuvola works the other way round: backrests and armrests are built in metal with a reclining mechanism, so that they follow the movements of the body rather than resisting them. Cierre calls the result «an invitation to lightness».
The backrests themselves are generous, closer to cushions than to panels, wrapped in expanded polyurethane and covered with acrylic silicon fibre. The sofa is modular, designed by Stefano Conficconi in 2026.
