Most desk systems give you one leg and a colour chart. Loft by Colombini Office gives you two structures: the support is a welded steel tube of section 70 × 20 mm, shaped either as a closed ring or as an open ring, epoxy powder coated, on black adjustable feet.
The closed ring draws a complete rectangle under the top and reads as a frame; the open one leaves the profile interrupted and lets the floor run through. Both are certified in the same declared sizes, both carry the same beams and the same glass or melamine tops — so a floor can change character from one department to the next without changing supplier, spare part or lead-in.
