Step in, and the booking already exists: Framery One Compact senses your presence with millimetre-wave radar and reserves itself the moment you enter, no app required. Need ten more minutes? Extend the slot from the 8-inch touchscreen without dropping the call. The roof-mounted occupancy light settles the question from across the floor — free or taken, at a glance, and the end of hovering outside a busy booth.

Beneath the calendar manners sits a serious room: Class A soundproofing with a measured 30 dB speech level reduction, echo-free interior acoustics, air fully replaced every minute, dual lighting tuned for video. It stands on 1.03 square metres right next to the desks it protects, which is exactly how La Mercanti writes it into a specification: one booth per cluster of workstations, bookable like any meeting room — only never fought over.

FAQ

How does walk-in booking work on One Compact?
Millimetre-wave radar detects the moment you step inside and the pod creates a reservation for you automatically — no app, no badge, no typing. If you booked in advance instead, the touchscreen shows your slot and lets you extend it on the spot, mid-call if necessary.
Can the pod join our existing room calendar?
Yes. Framery One Compact is designed to be made bookable like any meeting room: reservations appear on the pod's own touchscreen and can be found and managed through the Framery App, which also shows nearby availability in real time.
What do the roof occupancy lights actually show?
Whether the booth is free or taken, visible from across the floor. The lights are driven by the same radar that senses presence, so the status is live rather than calendar-based — if someone walked in without booking, the light still says so.
How do I switch between work and video lighting?
One touch on the 8-inch screen. Work mode puts up to 500 lux on the table for reading and writing; video mode redirects up to 400 lux onto your face at 4000 K, which is what makes you look properly lit on camera rather than backlit by the office.
What is included in the Essentials layout?
A height-adjustable stool with a built-in footrest, adjustable from 59 to 85 cm and rated for 135 kg. The Base layout omits the stool and leaves the volume free — for standing calls or for a seat you already own. Delivery times are confirmed in writing at order confirmation.

How to give phone calls a room of their own

Five steps from a noisy open plan to a booth that manages its own diary.

Find the loudest ten metres
Place the booth where calls actually happen — beside the sales cluster, not down a corridor. Class A soundproofing is precisely what makes that adjacency possible.
Let the radar do the admin
Skip the booking rollout on day one: walk-in reservations mean the pod organises itself while people learn it exists.
Wire the calendar second
Once usage settles, connect the pod to your room booking so it appears alongside meeting rooms — and extend slots from the touchscreen.
Teach the two lights
A ten-second briefing: work mode for focus, video mode for calls. The difference on camera does the persuading for you.
Read the roof, not the door
The occupancy light ends the polite knock forever. When teams trust it, one booth serves a surprising number of desks.
