Office pods were born austere: a stool, a shelf, a door. Framery One outgrew that. Its Lounge layout builds an upholstered sofa right into the pod — seat rated for 200 kg, padded footstool, a gently curved desk at 88 cm that makes sliding in effortless. Suddenly the soundproof booth is somewhere you would actually choose to sit: for a long virtual meeting, a difficult phone call, or ten minutes of thinking with the door shut.

The engineering underneath stays strict: 30 dB speech level reduction in Class A under ISO 23351-1, echo-free acoustics, air fully refreshed every minute, video-tuned lighting. Prefer discipline over comfort? The Essentials layout swaps the sofa for a height-adjustable stool with dual footrests, and Base leaves the floor open. La Mercanti specifies the right one per team — because the best pod is the one people stop avoiding.

FAQ

What exactly does the Lounge layout include?
A built-in upholstered sofa with a 62 cm seat height and a 200 kg load rating, a padded footstool finished with carpet, and a fixed desk at 88 cm designed with a curve that makes entering and sitting down easy. It turns the pod from a duty into a destination.
Can the Lounge table be upgraded later?
Yes — the fixed 88 cm table of the Lounge layout can be upgraded to the electric height-adjustable desk, which travels from 74 to 116 cm. The other layouts, Base and Essentials, include the electric desk from the start.
How much weight does the sofa seat carry?
200 kg, per the manufacturer's specification — noticeably more than the 135 kg rating of the height-adjustable stool. The sofa seat is also wider: 40.2 × 60.7 cm against the stool's 38 × 38 cm.
Is there a monitor mount for longer sessions?
Yes, an optional wall mount inside the pod takes a display up to 24 inches and 5 kg on a flat VESA 100×100 fitting — the monitor itself is not included. Combined with the electric desk it turns the pod into a genuine workstation.
How wide is the doorway of Framery One?
101.5 cm clear width and 204 cm height, with a 90-degree door swing and an 11 cm threshold. It is one of the widest entrances in the category, which matters daily more than any brochure adjective. Delivery times are confirmed in writing at order confirmation.

How to make people actually use the quiet room

Five steps to pick the Framery One layout your team will genuinely occupy.

Watch how people take calls
Perchers get the Essentials stool; settlers get the Lounge sofa; pacers get Base with the desk raised. Fit the layout to observed behaviour, not policy.
Sell the sofa, not the decibels
Announce the Lounge as a comfortable room, and mention the 30 dB Class A rating second — comfort is what changes habits.
Raise the desk for the tall
The electric range of 74 to 116 cm covers seated and standing work: set a house default, then let each user fine-tune.
Mind the wide door
At 101.5 cm, the doorway invites people in — keep the approach clear of storage so the invitation stands.
Read the side lights
Occupancy lights on the pod's flank show free or busy down the aisle. When the team trusts them, the sofa never sits empty for long.
