Every executive chair gets pulled up to the table by the backrest, and most of them show it after a year. The Season is drawn to be taken that way: a handle in polished aluminium sits on the back of the backrest, part of the same frame that carries the armrests and the end caps, so the hand lands on metal and not on leather. It is the detail Quinti names first on its own data sheet, before the mechanism, and it is what a visitor touches before anything else in the room.
Among executive office chairs the rest is a family rather than a model: one high-strength steel tube of 25 mm, chromed or black, with no visible screws, dressed in three ways. Comfort with 4 cm of 60 kg/m³ polyurethane and a double seam; Slim with 1.5 cm and horizontal stitching; Net with a heat-welded PVC mesh in black or white, the mesh version of an executive chair. Seat and back sit on a 1.3 mm Eurolene support; the tilt mechanism M5 comes with gas lift, lock and a tension wheel. In an executive office the high back on five-star castors is the chair behind the desk.
Three models complete the range. High back with M5 on the Leggera five-star base is the executive chair; medium back with the M8 swivel plate and lift, on the same base, is the desk chair for a manager; medium back with M8 on the Shop four-star base on glides sits still in front of the desk and at the meeting table. Finishes AL or V6, covers from category 2 to 8, Pad or Full arm pads, six years of guarantee declared by Quinti. On a British order the handle earns a line of its own at La Mercanti: it is the reason the leather stays clean.

The skin. Comfort carries 4 cm of polyurethane at 60 kg/m³ with a double seam; Slim carries 1.5 cm with horizontal stitching; Net replaces the padding with a heat-welded PVC mesh in black or white. Frame, handle, armrests, mechanisms and bases are the same on all three, which is why the three sit side by side in one price list.
The soft 1.3 mm sheet that carries the seat and the back on every version. On Comfort and Slim the upholstered padding is fixed to it with velcro; on Net the mesh is welded over it. Quinti names the material on all three data sheets as the load-bearing support under the cover.
On the high back, M5 comes as standard: a single-lever tilt with gas lift, lock and tension wheel. The alternatives are M5B with a polished lever and a black aluminium body; M5A, weight-activated, all in polished aluminium; M3 and M4 with the pivot moved forward and a three-position lock; and M10, a harmonic mechanism with permanent tilt.
19 kg (41.9 lb) for the high back and 15 kg (33.1 lb) for the medium back on Comfort; 19 and 13 kg on Slim; 17 and 13 kg on Net, according to the 2026 price list. Packed volume is 0.40 m³ for the high back and 0.30 m³ for the medium back.
The data sheet lists two finishes: chromed or black painted for the steel tube, polished or black painted for the aluminium handle, end caps and armrests, coded AL and V6 on the price list. Frame and base are ordered in the same finish, so the chair reads as one metal from the handle to the castors.

Steel, aluminium and painted surfaces are cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in warm water. That covers the tube, the handle, the end caps, the armrests and the base.
For heavier marks Quinti allows a little neutral liquid soap diluted in water, used sparingly. No creams or pastes for steel, no chlorine, no bleach and no aggressive detergents.
Always dry after cleaning, with a soft cloth or a chamois. Water left to dry on polished aluminium leaves the marks you were trying to remove.
No scouring pastes, steel wool or abrasive sponges: the data sheet says they scratch metal surfaces. On a chromed tube a scratch is permanent.
Coffee, cola and fruit juice can leave indelible stains on the metal, Quinti warns. At a desk where the cup sits next to the armrest, that is the rule to remember.
