«Tested to EN 1335» is a sentence anyone can print. Luxy publishes the report behind it: CATAS 101544, on model 26040, listing nine tests one by one — dimensions to EN 1335-1, general safety requirements and instructions for use to EN 1335-2, then, to EN 1335-3, seat and backrest fatigue, armrest fatigue, static armrest load, stability, castor fatigue and rolling resistance.

For anyone writing a specification, that list is the difference between a claim and a document: each line is a clause you can quote. Nulite, Luxy's executive chair range, is designed by Luxy R&D, comes in mesh, thermoformed and padded series, and runs to 21 catalogue models.

Send the clause you need to satisfy and we will match it line by line: La Mercanti requests the documents from Luxy before quoting.

FAQ

Which tests are listed in the report?
Nine, to EN 1335-1, -2 and -3: dimensions, general safety, instructions for use, seat and backrest fatigue, armrest fatigue, static armrest load, stability, castor fatigue and rolling resistance.
How do I tell the three series apart?
By the first two digits of the model code: 24 is mesh, 26 thermoformed, 28 padded.
What is the mesh made of?
A self-supporting flame-retardant mesh, class 1, with a leather side insert.
Has the frame been tested for corrosion?
Yes — a CATAS report covers neutral salt spray testing to UNI EN ISO 9227 on the frame.
What protects the painted parts?
The epoxy powder coating carries an anti-scratch treatment declared by the manufacturer.

How to furnish a room that is an office in the morning and a meeting room after lunch

One room, two uses, one family of chairs. Five decisions in order.

Decide which use is the longer one
The chair should suit the hours, not the occasion.
Keep one silhouette across the room
Different bases, same shape, and the room still reads as one.
Give the guest seats a fixed base
People who sit for twenty minutes do not need to swivel.
Count the seats you actually need
A meeting of six rarely needs eight chairs in the room.
Have the mix confirmed
