The iSixty technical sheet describes a route rather than a socket: «two hatches in the central top of the desk serve to duct cables from the desk top to the horizontal cable conduit and then to ground level, passing via the ducting in the side panels». The side is hollow. Its conical double shell — ash veneer outside, thick leather inside — leaves room for a conduit, and the cable leaves the desk through an opening at the foot of the side itself. Nothing hangs under the 60 mm (2 3/8 in) top of this executive desk, and the leg that a visitor sees is the same curve from any angle. When Soundoffice is fitted, the loudspeakers sit in the same sides and their power leads take the same road.
The desk is made in four widths — 210, 240, 270 and 300 cm (82 5/8 to 118 1/8 in) — and in two worlds: Avantgarde, with thick leather in dove grey, cream or black and chrome-plated bands, and Luxury, with gold or silver leather and bands plated in 24-carat gold. Around it, PC-equipped extensions, meeting tables for six to nineteen, three families of bookcase, a bar cabinet with a fridge and the Diamond chair, under a five-year guarantee from Codutti. For a London office La Mercanti asks for the floor-box position before the wood colour, because on an iSixty the cable decides which side of the desk faces the wall.
