A meeting room and an office ask opposite things of the same conference chair: one wants it to stay exactly where it was put, the other wants it to move. Electa by Fasem, designed by Archirivolto, answers with two bases — swivel on five castors with gas height adjustment, or swivel at fixed height on a cross base.
Multiply that by the two back heights and the range is four declared versions: BG, BC, Tall BG and Tall BC. The shell, the padded steel backrest and the beech plywood seat stay the same, so a floor keeps one language while each room gets what it actually needs.
The series is used in meeting and conference rooms, in executive and operative offices, in waiting areas, as guest seating, in dining rooms and at the bar counter.
