Paolo Pampanoni, architect and designer from Assisi — designer of the Mood modular office partitions by Las Mobili

In 2020 the Bridge furniture system, drawn by Paolo Pampanoni with Pinuccio Borgonovo for Citterio Spa, won an Archiproducts Award — Citterio being one of the manufacturers La Mercanti works with, which tells you the company he keeps. His own studio, founded in Assisi in 2000, runs on a rule he calls performance-based: every decision exists to deliver a performance the client actually asked for — functional, technical, aesthetic or economic.
