Karim Rashid has collected more than 400 design awards

Few careers carry these numbers. Karim Rashid counts more than 400 international awards — among them an American Prize for Design Lifetime Achievement, Red Dot, iF and the IDSA excellence award — with over 4,000 designs in production and projects in more than 47 countries. Born in Cairo in 1960, raised in Canada, he works from New York. His work has been gathered in retrospectives in Sao Paulo, Seoul, Milan and Ottawa, and he speaks regularly at ICFF, NeoCon and High Point.

Two names in our catalogue carry his signature: Della Rovere, with the Zero and Uno desks, and Estel, which lists him among its designers. La Mercanti brings them where an office wants to be remembered.
