A Wallpaper* award on a Barcelona shelf: Altherr Désile Park

When the London design press draws up its lists, Barcelona is watching too: in 2023 the studio Altherr Désile Park took home a Wallpaper* Design Award, one of six prizes collected in its first six years. Behind the name are three founders — Jeannette Altherr, Delphine Désile and Dennis Park — who worked side by side for years inside Lievore Altherr Molina before opening their own practice in 2019. Their stated method is a holistic one: interculturality, sustainability and a deep attention to detail, material and colour, applied from bathrooms for Roca to seating for Arper.

The signature that concerns our catalogue is Adell, designed for Arper with Alberto Lievore: La Mercanti quotes it week after week, and the award shelf explains why.
