Most shelving asks you to adapt the room; Line System adapts to it. The catalogue is a grid — five widths by five heights — 390 to 1870 mm across, 420 to 2150 up — adding up to twenty-three formats: enough resolution to hit the wall between two windows, the nook behind reception, the full-height run of a project room. Made to measure, without the wait of custom work.

Elisa Ossino drew the system for Dieffebi in steel: semi-gloss RAL finishes, metal shelves, a thermoformed back with its own factory-paired colour. Every size publishes its own weight and metal tests on the data sheet — coworking furniture with an engineer's paper trail.

La Mercanti configures Line System walls for collaborative offices across Europe: send wall measurements and headcount, and the layout returns confirmed in writing with the manufacturer.

FAQ

Who designed Line System?
Elisa Ossino — her name is printed on every Dieffebi data sheet. Production started in 2024 at the company's works in San Vendemiano, Treviso.
What is the back panel made of?
It is thermoformed, with its own colour paired at the factory — yellow behind white, grey behind black, brown behind ochre — so the rear of the unit is finished, not an afterthought.
How is the steel tested?
The sheets declare a full battery: salt-spray corrosion, adhesion, light fastness, cold liquids, wet and dry heat, abrasion, scratch and impact — each with its ISO or UNI EN reference.
Can colours go beyond the three standards?
Yes — custom colours on request, alongside the standard semi-gloss Pure White, Black and Ochre Brown.
Can we check finishes before ordering?
La Mercanti provides Dieffebi's finish samples, and the sampling cost is fully credited at order confirmation.

How to choose the right height for each zone

Five heights do five different jobs: match them to the way each corner of the office works.

Keep sightlines low in open areas
The low module runs under windows and keeps the floor visually open.
Use mid heights as soft borders
Waist- and shoulder-high units zone a room without closing it.
Go full height on real walls
The tallest formats belong against structure, where they become architecture.
Mind the reach
Everyday material lives between knee and eye level; archive goes above or below.
Mix heights on purpose
A stepped run reads as designed, not leftover — La Mercanti drafts the elevation with Dieffebi.
