Ronan Bouroullec: Honorary Royal Designer for Industry, with a London medal to match

Mutina ceramics by Ronan Bouroullec in an office reception

Britain has honoured him twice over: the London Design Medal in 2014, and in 2015 the RSA's Honorary Royal Designer for Industry — while the Design Museum and the V&A keep his work. Ronan Bouroullec, born in Quimper in 1971, designed for a quarter century with his brother Erwan — Vitra's Joyn office system, Hay's Palissade, Samsung's Serif TV — and works solo since 2023. For Mutina, the tally is eight collections since 2011, from Osso & Bottone to Candeliere.

The Bouroullec name is on our Mutina pages already; La Mercanti carries those ceramics into British offices, floor to wall.
