London 2025: Busetti Garuti Redaelli win Product of the Year

At the Mix Awards in London, in 2025, Product of the Year for Furniture went to a seating system designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli for Pedrali — Buddy Oasi, the latest chapter of a family the Italian studio has been developing since 2014. It was not their first British notice, nor their first award for that collection: the same family had already taken a HiP Award at NeoCon in Chicago in 2021. What the studio puts on the table is a stated position rather than a style — eclectic and pragmatic, Italian roots openly crossed with Scandinavian values, and a stubborn preference for solutions that stay simple and legible once people actually use them.

British projects find that work in the two collections La Mercanti lists from Pedrali: Buddy and Log. Two names worth knowing before a breakout area is specified on drawings alone.
