Nathalie Du Pasquier quit design at its peak — Mutina brought her back

Few designers walk away from their own success: a founding member of Memphis, the Milan group that upended design, Nathalie Du Pasquier spent the eighties drawing the textiles and surfaces of the moment — then, in 1987, left it all for painting. Born in Bordeaux in 1957, in Milan since 1979, she returned to design only in 2019, for Mutina: Mattonelle Margherita, Paesaggi, the 3D pieces Brac and the BRIC installation. In her words, that meeting let her think about a design project again after many years.

Through La Mercanti, the comeback lands on your floor: a painter's eye, fired into tiles for offices with personality.
