A system for management offices, complete with coordinated tables, desks and storage units. The collection particularly stands out for the strong lines of the chromeplated steel structure, topped by elegant volutes that evoke the classic constructive geometry of Corinthian columns and capitals. The entire collection is designed around a curving, ‘v’ shaped steel profile, which is repeated symmetrically and serves both as a supporting surface for the tops, and as a foot or support for the cabinets and drawer units. Corinthia combines a strong visual impact with great flexibility of use, allowing for different configurations starting from just a few basic elements, which are able to meet the different personal requirements of a manager’s office. The support structure is in metal, with tubular steel elements, the front of which rests on supporting rectangular panels upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, and the rear of which rests on turned chrome-finished steel columns, or alternatively on a leathercovered squared wooden base. The columns and bases are fitted with adjustable feet, to create a level surface on any floor. Shapes reminiscent of a Corinthian capital in extruded polished aluminium, support the top, with rounded edges, made from mediumdensity wood fibre, and finished with black scratch-resistant paint. The top is made up of four easily substitutable panels of medium-density wood fibre. The two side pieces are available in walnut or American pear wood veneer, with leathercovered edges. The two centre pieces are positioned across the desk, and are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. If desired, all surface panels can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. Corinthia President is available with a wooden courtesy panel upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. Front supporting rectangular panels are always available with capital.
