Designed and constructed to respond to the functional and benefit related needs of people who use these study and work settings regularly and for lengthy periods, this systemputs forward an extremely innovative solution above all in accessibility andmobility terms. The workstation ismade up of a bench with a fixed top and an independent seat, which in the out-of-use position remains inclined forwards close to the top so as to leave an access aisle behind it. Writing bench with structure in formed steel sheet, comprising: posts with floor fixing feet covered in plastic and writing table support brackets; horizontal beams ready to house channelling for electric/data systems (on request) and the related sockets; beam-post connections for end and central elements; all structural components are accessible and can be inspected to allow wiring installation andmaintenance. Writing table in integral laminate, thickness 12mm. Front panel in perforated painted sheet, height 12 cm; the first rows provide for assembly of two panels. Seat comprising a single shell in wengé painted beech plywood, Class 1, shaped to guarantee maximumcomfort; fitted with right/left opening handle to aid place access. Support structure comprising a steel plate with a shaped steel pin welded centrally, on which pivots a die-cast aluminiumhood housing all themovement mechanismcomponents (covered by patent). The seat is fitted with the followingmovement devices: 29° forward and backward inclination; approximately 85° rotation fromthe vertical support axis; further 90° seat rotation fromits central axis.
